Agreement to Terms
By accessing byteon-cloudx.digital or purchasing training services from Byteon Cloudx (“Byteon”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these General Terms. If you disagree, do not use our websites or services. These terms apply in addition to any order form or enterprise agreement you execute with us.
Services Description
Byteon provides professional education related to secure software engineering, mentorship blocks, and corporate workshops. Deliverables are described in the applicable catalog page or statement of work. We may update learning materials to reflect tooling changes; substantive changes will be announced to active cohorts with reasonable notice.
Accounts and Eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information. Enterprise customers are responsible for provisioning seats to eligible employees. You may not share login credentials outside the licensed group. We may suspend access for misuse, non-payment, or security incidents affecting the platform.
Intellectual Property
Byteon retains all rights in curricula, templates, recordings, and trademarks. Learners receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use materials for personal learning or internal training as expressly permitted on the invoice. Redistribution, resale, or public republishing of course packs is prohibited without written consent.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to attempt to disrupt services, probe unrelated systems using techniques taught in class, harass staff or learners, or upload unlawful content to collaboration spaces. Security exercises must only target lab infrastructure we provide or systems you are authorized to test.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of Japan, Byteon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of our services. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a calendar year is limited to the fees you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim during that year.
Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Kyoto, Japan shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protections require otherwise. You may also use consumer mediation procedures available in your prefecture where applicable.
Termination and Changes
Either party may terminate an ongoing engagement as set out in the order form. We may modify these terms with notice posted on this page; material changes affecting pricing or liability will be highlighted to active customers. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
